COMMUNITY

The room, not the stage.

A peer institution, not an audience. Practitioners in your market, at your stage, on a live call most weekday mornings.*

Attendees gather for a group photograph at the front of a hotel ballroom during a SubTo member meetup.

How the room works

  • The Daily Dial

Bring a seller conversation you are stuck on and underwrite it out loud with the room. Newer members practice the call here before they make it.

    CADENCE

    Weekday mornings*

  • Discord

Where the room is between calls: ask a deal question, read your market's thread, find a partner who already works in your city.

    CADENCE

    Open, all day*

  • Squads

A small peer group, placed by your market and your stage. They read your files, and they are the people most likely to tell you a deal is bad.

    CADENCE

    Weekly*

  • Deal reviews

Bring a live file and walk it with a coach: the numbers, the terms, and the part that will cause a problem at closing.

    CADENCE

    Weekly*

Every new member is paired with an advisor*

SubTo assigns a Member Success Advisor for your first 60 days*: a weekly conversation, introductions to the members already working in your market, and a plan pointed at the goal you came in with. It is that person's job, not a favor from a peer, and it is the same person every week.

Member stories

Three members on what the room is, in their own words. Deals, with the documents behind them, are published on the Proof Hub.

"I was just like you. I was the person that was like, is this a real deal? We see so much virtual stuff happening now that it's hard to trust what's out there. And that was me. I was uncertain."

"When I first heard of SubTo, all I heard of was creative finance. But when I got involved, I realized it's much more than that. It's not about competition. It's all about collaboration."

"Being in the program, and just the tidbits and pieces of information that I've learned, I realized that it is not that complex. It is not that scary."
